Set high atop of Gull Hill and just steps from the beach in Provincetown's charming West End, Land's End Inn offers exquisite accommodations, expanded continental breakfast, and a lively wine & cheese hour daily. The New York Times describes this historic inn as "a lavishly decorated outpost atop the West End with extravagant views and gorgeous grounds."

Chalice bar on the lawn is open to the general public Thursday through Sunday 4PM to 8PM, Memorial Day through the end of September.

And the lively restaurant and bar scene offers something for everyone—be it a romantic dinner by the water or a late night out at a dance club.

In addition to private decks and patios off many rooms, Land's End Inn offers plenty of indoor and outdoor common areas. Steeped in History

Higgins Bungalow
Built in 1904 as a quirky, artistic summer bungalow resting improbably at the top of a sand dune at the remotest point on Cape Cod, the house opened as an inn and teahouse in 1926. It has operated as an inn ever since. Today, the quintessential Provincetown spirit of the bungalow still remains alive. It is preserved physically in details throughout the house, including woodwork, stonework, and stained glass, and spiritually through its magical allure, which draws people in and brings them together. Across seven generations of owners, a love of art, a call to build what one can dream, and a desire to bring people together are hallmarks of this remarkable landmark and its stewards.

Read more about the inn's history in the 2024 hardcover coffee table book Land's End Inn available in the inn's online gift shop or explore excerpts from the book.

Classic Logo T
In 2022, we did a major rewind with our logo and went back to the past. The new logo is inspired by a sign designed by David Schoolman, who ran the Land's End Inn from the early 1970s to mid 1990s. In our gift shop, you can find Land's End Inn classic logo and Chalice t-shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, and a hardcover coffee table book Land's End Inn exploring 120 years of the inn's history. Also shop fine art by Trevor Mikula and donate to the Land's End Foundation. Explore the online Gift Shop or come by the Land's End Inn at 22 Commercial Street in Provincetown, MA.
Lands End Foundation
Throughout the year, Land's End Inn directly supports many local charities with in-kind donations. Further, the Inn's owners support a range of local charities through the Land's End Foundation. The Foundation's mission is to support and enable queer community, Provincetown community, the arts, and mindfulness.

Testimonials

We booked this 2 days before our arrival, and we received helpful correspondence very quickly and timely. The grounds and building are beautiful, the common guest areas comfortable, spacious, and homey. The continental breakfast is generous and delicious, the complimentary wine and cheese spread wonderful. Food and drink for both occasions regularily restocked, nothing goes empty. The room was comfortable and cozy. All Inn personal very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

This small 18 room hotel is perched on top of a hill with 180 degree+ views of Province Town. We stayed in the Bay Tower room which is an amazing octagon room on the top floor of the hotel with views everywhere you look. This room also features a large private walk around balcony where you can relax and enjoy the weather in your own space. The staff in the hotel are friendly and attentive, and as we stayed there during the pandemic felt they did a fantastic job keeping the hotel clean and safe while still delivering excellent service.

We had a group of 5 from Friday Dec 3-Sunday Dec 5 to celebrate Holly Folly and to commemorate the death of one of our brother/partner/friends. For my wife and me, it was our first time. It was the best hospitality I can imagine. I especially want to recognize Mary Anne, who made our stay even better. She is an incredible host!! She showed us the unoccupied rooms for our next trip (oh yeah, there will be another trip!), educated us to the history of Land's End and made us totally at home. Happy New Years to all!!

What better place to spend a birthday weekend. High on a hill at the end of Commercial Street with endless water views - this is just what the doctor ordered. This is an Inn that feels more like home. The main living room or parlor area offers many places to sit, relax, connect with fellow guests or just chill out while gazing upon the incredible collection of antiques, leaded glass & artworks of every kind.

First time staying at Lands End Inn. Unfortunately it was just for a quick 1 night getaway. The room was really nice and very clean. I traveled with my 80 lb lab. They provided dog bowls, poop bags, drool towel and a mat. Best of all a giant dog cookie. Spectacular ocean views. Fantastic breakfast. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay at Lands End Inn! The inn itself has a comfortable and welcoming vibe. The common rooms were very cozy and appointed with many fun artifacts. It was December so the holiday decorations were a nice touch! Check-in was easy and our room (the English garden) was super clean and charming! Every detail was carefully thought of, especially the cute welcome basket for our dog. The views of the tip of the cape and lighthouse were phenomenal and it was just a short walk to the causeway. We will definitely return to the lands end inn!!
